  1. I put link 1 as it had all facts in one place. Tongue in cheek - yesterday or day before yesterday, I put one comment in Outlook on "massacres" and some people were genuinely scandalized. About the truth of AMT or OIT, I would go by the evidence of mitochondrial DNA and linguistics..

    I think Periyar movement though influential, was not very popular. Insistence of one language for national integration was the wrong thing as proven by what happened in Bangladesh. I don't think anyone takes AIT seriously, but it was a serious theory at one time. ..You may be interested in reading what I have written in the last comment here http://fairy-tales-alive.blogspot.in/2012/06/tearful-onion.html . There are small small truths waiting to be discovered.
